I've tried everything that man has to offer.
Still coming up empty.
Knowing that You are the only one who can bring me peace,
Yet still resisting the love you have for me.
Feeling worthless and afraid, I struggle on.
Fighting against myself, running out of time.
Searching my inner thoughts for a small hint of clarity.
Still questioning how you could accept me in my state of filthy unrighteousness.
I've played this game for so long, never rising as victor.
Committing acts of iniquity.
Some acts so vile I dare not speak of them to anyone.
So here again, I come to You.
On bended knee, knowing that I need Your help.
The storms in life have been so rough, I don't know where to turn.
But knowing I can no longer be left to my own devices.
The twists and turns have left me sinking, desperate of rescue.
Save me, O Yah, please save me.
I bow down with a humble heart and a being willing to serve.
